I'm waiting for the pics to show it being loaded into the trailer
I was driving the trailer under the engine, so no photos from me. There is some video about which may make it somewhere with a bit of luck.

Sadly, Jerry, yours is two cylinders short and is a bit asthmatic judging by the breathing assistance required.

You need indicators because you know where you are going.

That's straight out of a BMW manual because they don't come with indicators as standard.

Least that's what you believe if you follow one

Maybe but how do you know when you come up behind me.........you would more than likely assume that I cruise at this speed all day

    Maybe...

But not every new Navara, Triton, land crusher, that I see is going to be like that!

Plenty of them do 80-90 until the straight sections then get confident and speed up till the next bendy bit... Stops anything from passing safely.

As mentioned earlier, if the tug and taj combo is not balanced to enable travel at 95-100kmh then should it be on the road?

If the driver is incapable of comfortably controlling a vehicle at the national limit; should they be driving?

Is a 0.5-1.0l per hundred saving worth the stress and hazards imposed by going 80km/h?

And for Chucaro - I have been charged with impeding the flow of traffic whilst driving at 140km/h if you don't move you're breaking the law...

I am curious as to why your Deefer was getting hot, I'm guessing you werent towing the mother of all campers at 3500-4000kg, thereby pushing the towing limit of your Defender, so I can only assume its a mechanical issue of some form, most likely a partially blocked radiator, which given regular checks and maintenance should have been found.

Some might consider it foolhardy to depart on a lengthy trip to areas off the beaten track without making sure your vehicle isnt going to let you down....

Geez, what has this thread come to.

You can do all the maintenance, check everything,do the best you can do, and may still have an issue.

weeds, I think you should get to the heart of the question all are thinking, do you wear lycra when driving? Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
