Thread: It happens and not only in the movies

Aah! I can recall an incident like that happening in Sydney in the late 60;s early 70's, it was also included as a scene in the movie "Stone" (Aus movie shot in Sydney)I remember that one VERY well.


It movie was credited with starting the Bikers trend to carry lethal weapons, up to that time tyre levers,sand filled hoses, and M/cycle lock-up chains were the tool of choice for "education"


That was long before the drugs etc were a part of that scene.

That was in the local paper here today, absolutely disgusting. I hope they catch the morons who did it.

I did a first aid course in the early eighties that was run by the ambos. They showed us a picture of a wound to the throat of a trail bike rider who copped a wire strung between trees in one of the forests around Bathurst. He was really lucky. I know the picture above is after cleaning and suturing, but it looks a lot, lot neater than the picture that was shown to us. Scary evil stuff.
