Staying in Paris a few days. That's what they use to get your car off the Road after it broke down .

That's wonderful to see, I was in Paris a few weeks ago and didn't see many Puma Defenders...not like the hundreds that I saw in Italy. I did spot a couple of ex-army Deefers but that was about it for the French capital.
I wonder how the French must feel, buying a British car. Perhaps it's ok for them knowing that they've sold us so many Renaults, Peugeots, Citroens etc

These is another examples of a LR towing truck in Paris.
For sure they removed the coils and fitter leaf springs on it.

They changed from Toyota Landcruisers about 10 years ago due to the Toyota no longer meeting emissions requirements. Toyota did not sell enough of the 70 series in Europe to justify the cost of compliance with the unique EU rules.
Ironic when you consider that the Land Rover Defender is now being discontinued due to it also costing too much to modify it to meet EU requirements.
