$450 to do a IIa shorty...
So who here has pricing???
Is it still about double the cost of painting?
Anywhere it can be purchased in DIY form for a reasonable price?

For just my flares, they've quoted me $30 a corner if I remove them. I thought that was reasonable, hence its to be done soon.
When the new canopy is done, I may get some graphics done for the car, haven't got a quote on that yet.
From what I've seen, via the net, it doesn't really look that hard at all, especially if your car is a straight forward shape. Not too sure how the rivets will look when covered though.
mmm, thinking about doing this to my D2a, got some bad oxidiasion on the roof and bonnet.
Was looking at a re-spray to protect the structure but could do a vynil cover for a short term measure.
presumably it is availble in a range of colors?
any recomendations for this work in Cairns area?

I was going to wrap my hood and roof on my Disco 1 here in Adelaide. Couldn't match colour Oxford Blue but didn't worry me too much. Also wanted a Welsh Dragon on hood, which I would supply artwork as a HiRes PDF. Nearly fell over backwards with price, was quoted $2200 inc. GST. And $1950 +GST. I decided against it, re painting hood and roof is going to cost me $1000 inc. + $100 to cut and polish rest of vehicle and fix up few scratches.
Old thread but rather than start another - has anyone done a Deefer and can offer any long(ish) term reports?
I am thinking of doing the roof and bonnet/guards on my 130 HCPU.
But only if its cheaper than paint, and holds up.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

How much have you been quoted for paint?
For a rub, tape and spray there is a mob in Sandgate that are well priced...if you are doing roof, bonnet and guards you mays we'll do the doors.
WOW! At those prices to keep a few scratches off I think I'll stick with my normal loving care .....
Wash and polish twice a year and let the rain clean it in between. About time I did it ready for this years summer heat.
