    land rover help in Port Macquarie

    Sorry guys for spelling mistake and shortness written in moving car

    Snapped D3 passenger rear left control arm in hub assembly in 4x4 territory 1h from
    Port Macquarie car can not be moved but we removed whole half shaft, cv and hub assembly and Heading to port Macquarie does someone know/ have workshop to extract broken bolt on Sunday we are also looking for replacement bolt.

    Just found the message on my phone from Jimmy Salsa from last night to help you out today north of Gloucester. Sorry I didn't see it earlier, but no I don't know anyone up at Port. Hope it all goes well. PM me if nobody can help you out, I've got nothing on tomorrow at this stage.

    Scott,

    The sheared thread has been removed from the hub in Wauchope, however a proper replacement bolt has not been found. A close fitting bolt with some packing was the last option discussed before I left Wauchope. Steve, Gerald and Mark have headed back into the forest to refit the hub and try and get Steve's car up to the Oxley highway. The car may get out but should not be driven home without the correct or at least a better fitting bolt fitted.

    made it out at around 12 midnight managed to refit half shaft, hub and break assembly , bolt needed tightening ever 1 k in low range but all good. Now in Port Macquarie trying to source correct bolt.
