    Very frustrating.
Yep, as often happens, barely a drop here. The next wave might bring something though.

With the help of the map the right way up, and google maps, I now have a slightly better idea what you are talking about.

I will fall in with whatever you decide, as long as it is sensible. Just bear in mind that I will have driven for over twelve hours the previous day, so I am not enthusiastic about doing a lot of driving - I'm not as young as I used to be.

The Gantry is only an hour from Caboolture at the most, well depending on the vehicle, & an easy drive in a 2wd. Just a nice place for a picnic & maybe a 15min drive to Lake Somerset lookout.
I'm probably one of the more time free forum members so maybe someone on a time frame i.e. BFDave, could put up a time & meeting place?
Not putting the pressure on Dave, just going by your previous post.

    John, no worries.
Heading North: Take either the Gateway (M1) or the Pacific (Route 3)/ Gympie road/ Bruce highway.
Once you cross the Pine River (big bridge, fair sized river, you won't miss it), take the second exit onto Anzac Avenue (Route 71) and head toward Kallangur/ Strathpine.
Drive for about 5Km until you reach the Petrie Roundabout(2 lanes)
Turn Right onto Dayboro Rd and follow this for about 20minutes until you find the Bakery in Dayboro.
On the left just after the servo.
Maybe Jerry can meet you there? Jerry?

There are a few of us that can guide you back down of the ranges into Caboolture.
Looks like there will be about 3 cars to choose from if you want to be a passenger around the Forest.
I need to be out of the Kallangur area by 0945 or I would hang around to guide you from the highway.
    Maybe Ranga?
    Cheers, BDave.

Directions are probably not needed, as long as I know where I am going, or TomTom does. Problem started when people started talking about "The Mountain", which, as far as anyone around here is concerned, would have to be Mt Panorama - or possibly Siding Spring Mountain.

The bakery at Dayboro sounds like a good meeting place (although I'm not supposed to eat pies anymore ) Anybody else want to meet there ?? What time ??
We can then take a leisurely drive up to Mount Mee
