    Warbirds Downunder.

    Anybody else from the Forum going to the "Warbirds Downunder" show at Temora next Saturday, 2/11/2013?

    We have booked in and looking forward to the show, if anybody else is going I would like to meet and greet!!!. Being interested in photography I am anxious to get some good photo's of the old aeroplanes.

    I'm going in convoy with "cookey", there are a few people from AMVCS/KVE going from Sydney. Also a few military vehicle enthusiasts from Victoria and around Tumut.

    There will be a military vehicle display along the eastern side of runway 18/36 behind the general viewing area. (To the south of where "Connie" will be parked.)

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    I would love to have gone to this but it is my mother-in-laws 70th birthday celebration that same weekend and I fear that my life will be made hell on earth for many months to come if I make the wong choice............

    My original plan was to do a day trip. Basically fly into Melbourne, hop on the DC-3 flight to the show and spend the day there. Afterwards take the DC-3 back to Melbourne and then fly home. Unfortunately life is never simple (other commitments came up) and my plans got shelved. Oh well, better luck next year I guess!

    Unfortunately Warbirds Downunder is every two years. They do however have regular flying days with their war birds.
