Damb, dunno where that came from, damn.
Still is.
We must of had a couple of inches already.
Damb we needed it.
I hope it continues like this for another 24 hours.
The cane farmers desperately needed it to kick start next years crop.
It will slow things for awhile as this years harvest is not quite finished.
Merlin ( bless him ) is tucked away cosily in his shed and the Bitch is back under its tree.
PS: the trees in the pic, l/r, are custard apple, mango and avacardo.
I planted them all 21 year ago.
We avoided the strong October winds this year so I might have a good Christmas crop meself this year.
Damb, dunno where that came from, damn.
Just down the road we got 32mm overnight and had at least another 20 today. My rain water tanks are both nearly full and the yard is starting to come green again already. Guess I better give the ride on the service that I have been meaning to do for a while now. This is the first rain of any consequence that we have had for the last couple of months and is very welcome![]()
Cheers......Brian

Show offs!!
I've got 3 x 10,000 gal tanks empty except for enough to stop them blowing away & both 10,000 gal house tanks are at 1/3 i.e. 1 tank 2/3 , so not too bad really.
I can even see that my dam has dropped about 5 ft.
I'd hate someone to throw a durry out their car window.
Enjoy the rain.
Steve
Excuse me if you already know, but BOM have an excellent site, www.bom.gov.au where amongst other things you can check out the rain radar. Very good for tracking thunderstorms, & such. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
When I was in Qld I used to look at the OZ CYCLONE CHASERS site, it is good.
