I reckon you should put something up on here a couple of weeks before next years event. Maybe some of us could try and do a trip up for the weekend.

We used to camp at Freeburgh caravan park on the ovens river, about 5min out of town, nice park, quiet, a few rodders stay there. Must get up there next year, its been a while

This years rod run was much quieter than previous. The different organisers did a good job. The local people I have spoken with over the last few days all commented favorably about the more sedate event. A much more enjoyable weekend for the locals.
For those who want to put it in the diary, the weekend after Melb. cup will get you here at the right time.
