Thread: td5 annoying oil leak....

So I've had this annoying oil leak around the filters/turbocharger area and depositing oil everywhere...my viscous fan is currently fixed so blows like hell and spreads it around.....and sourced technical chatter/good oil until I ran it down. It was the turbo oil drain and I kind of smirked when I read of several others who unbolted the pipe and found NO gasket. I popped down to Ricks and bought the offending replacement gasket for, as usual, an outrageous price , typically Land Rover ...of $3.20. I then unbolted my pipe and guess what? No gasket....... no wonder the king thing leaked.....put the new one in and goodo. I might be able to again say grumble doesn't leave his calling card in my driveway.

Same thing, my gasket was $5!
Been waiting at TL LR for about 2 months, should probably go pick that up....
