Yes, thats what I said, but i put it in my Magma lamp before i came to the surface, hence the term magma lamp, and not lava lamp. MattOriginally posted by one_iota

Magma becomes lava when it leaves the volcano.
The higher the Si (Silica) content the more viscous is the lava and the slower the lava flows:
