It is rigged. Whilst i love V8's and always will, the whole thing is rigged. The whole point of a "parity formula" is that each brand wins 50% each. For six years HRT won everything. They had a bigger budget than everyone else and they were rumoured to have a couple of commorodes hidden in the UK in wind tunnel testing. Those 6 years were very boring, and if it wasnt for Marcos Ambrose sticking it up them, the sport would have died, similar to the lack of interest shown by F1 fans during Shuies domination, now look at the breath of life F1 has received. No one wants to watch a sport that is predictable, its boring. Since the introduction of the BA falcon, a car that Ford teams could tune and actually get resluts with, it was a holden forumla, lead by HRT, not just skaife, before him Lowndes won every race, and now look where he is when he has a car the same as everyone else. HRT have lost their big budget and now look where they are, back with the rest of the pack, further proving the car won those championships more than he did. Sure the category needs some level of control, but rigging it isnt the way to go, teams need more freedom, but give them a budget cap, or something else to limit it but still leave it up to the team to get the most out of the car.
