I think you guys need a dose of reality. It's for a category shot. And whatever they use it for it ain't going to end up on a billboard on airport drive and as a pro photographer I'd be thinking maybe you might WANT to help these guys out because maybe you might actually get some real work from them....If your images are that good to justify spending all those thousands of dollars on gear that is!

As he said. If you don't feel comfy giving them an image.... Hit the back button.

And only if you have an un modified LR product....

    Jeez!

I sent some pics of my D3 in standard form. I have no issues what so ever offering pics up.

I'm actually excited to see if they get used!

And to Sue - I can say if you were in chatting nicely to the lads and lass at Davis, they would gladly give you helpful guidance and information that is not paid for. I've spoken to them on numerous occasions, and they have been brilliant, and even giving advice that leads to less work for them. Exactly the same as your photo's, they are trained, their knowledge is their product, hence them handing it out freely to randoms and anyone who has a question!

I am surprised you are from Brisbane, I just thought that was a Sydney attitude.

I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars studying and training on finance, sales and recruitment. But I'd gladly assist any forum members or business friends and family I know on the personal side of my life for free.

    Easy tiger

I'm not sure whether its my comment your referring to as I did say someone getting millions but I was only using it as an example, more so to help people understand why some of the questions were being asked

As I said I do actually give my images away however I like to remain the owner.
I also dont feel anyone has done anything wrong by asking the questions that have been asked. And as it happens because those questions that were asked, Steve actually cleared some things up, like you do keep your rights etc which were not clear in the original post.

Steve did not intend for this to happen like this as he has clearly stated a couple of times he had only good intentions, so how's about we all just move on hey

I think we have been giving Steve a break. I agree with what Lou has posted - questions were asked and additional information was given. Steve has given a good account of what and why the images were to be used for and it is obvious many have obliged. The tone of the entire thread has been very well mannered - both with questions raised and questions answered.

Happy days, no point anyone getting put out about it all.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
