    Sounds like you have some pretty ordinary people around them parts if you have stubbies and butts left on your lawn. It sounds like the people are the problem not the lights. I am having to adjust my perception of Canberrans.

    Many have a miserable Christmas day but a great New Year...

    Me - first holidays this time of year. I've worked every public holiday for 7 years... So no idea wtf to do!!!

    Its like moths to a flames I mean bogans to the Xmas lights.     As a kid I loved the light displays, but now all I can see is a waste. The displays do seem more big w and kmart based than of years passed = cheap and tacky though.
