    Whats with the "HEROES" thing?

the current Camary/Aurion ads are nearly making me vomit.....

so we call all heroes to drive the worlds most boring car.....

and you are considered a hero if you do....according to the ads.....

    oh what a feeling.....now I'm a hero.....spewbags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I like it.

The way I see it, the ad suggests that the real heroes in this world are those ordinary people who do the right thing.

You don't need some big powerful status symbol of a car to be a hero. You can be a hero to your kids just by being there when you need them. It isn't really about the car.

That is one of those ads that just makes you feel good about something and then associates a product with that good feeling.

Of course I might be just a bit biased since i drive a 1988 Camry.

The Cook refuses to let me get her something more modern as according to her "the Camry still does the job".
And still doing it well after 22 years of ownership.

They are a bloody good car. I bought my son a Sportivo V6 manual and my wife has the new Camry. We do a lot of country highway kms and it is a pleasure to travel in.

The new 4 cyl Camry is a superb motor...

You must have very low standards then. I have had one recently to replace my dunny door while it was being repaired. I though the 3 ltr Commodore was bad but geez, it's a Rolls Royce compared to a 4 cylinder Camry...

Never driven a worse car in my life. Had it for 3 weeks and was ready to quit my job to get out of the bloody thing...

Oh, and the adverts make me want to puke...

Never driven or ridden in a new camry. I've heard some say they're a beut car - but can't embrace the image of myself in one judging by the way they are driven around here.

If your going to be cut off- it'll be by a camry driver.
