Ive seen a video of one of these in action... something swivel frame or swivel chassis... guessing but wilson swivel chassis sounds about it, but off to look on the interweb!!
how cool if you could do this with some of todays cars?

obviously above was wrong just searched it and came up with barstools and stuff!!
I mustve mixed the name up with something else but there is video on the web of them driving over stuff, its impressive I reckon

In a edition of land rovers owners monthly about the middle of last year they had an article on a land rover farm ute prototype (it was more quad bike than 1 toner)with a central chassis swivel. The pro type was a while ago
I'm away and don't have the article at hand, but from memory you could lock the swivel. The trick was having the drive shaft and swivel centres centres line up.
The journos drove it - very impressive articulation. It never went into production as lr due to perceived limited sales

It'd be a cool jigger to duck down to the shop for a loaf of bread or bottle of milk. Even better to take to Westfield for the weekly shop.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

The asking price was $19,900.00 which is reasonable considering how rare they are

You were not far off it has a Willock swivel chassis (Frame) one of 49 built.
