    Question for the Ornithogists

Does anyone know the species of the noisy little buggers below, they've moved in to feed their babies on our plums. I was wondering if they are Superb Parrots?

We only had a few last year but we seem to have about a dozen this year.

Plenty of these buggers as well......

    Polytelis swainsonii

Superb Parrots, Habitat riverine and flood-plain open forrest and woodland, particularly river red gum; also stubble and roadsides. Small flocks. Ref; Simpson & Day.

    Nice birds, your lucky.

I'm glad to see them breeding up and happy to know that our plums are being put to good use, thankfully the walls of the house are 14" thick so we can't hear them most of the time......
    Thanks for the ID all.
