I'm open for suggestions on this I should be checking or greasing after a bit of water. I've done the usual, grease prop shafts and checked for milky oil.
Happy Days
I went for a drive with the Family at Gunn Point (just out of Darwin) after a bit of rain.
I missed the funniest bit as the camera went flat (a skeleton case is on order for next pay day). Anyway as you'll see I was cruising a long pretty well not too fast but not standing still. Just cruising through a puddle when the nose went down, fast. The hole was only short, less than the vehicle length but it was well over bonnet depth. The nose sort of went under and scooped the water up the windscreen and over the roof. Funniest part was my wife was asleep and woke up when we went in so she woke up to a windscreen full of water and it was pouring down the sides. She thought we were under water.
Make sure you turn up the volume and hit HD.

What's at Gunn Pt now? I used to go out there in my job as a remote areas diesel fitter, but can't recall why. Did RAAF have installations out there?
searched it and found it......it was the Gunn Pt prison farm. We had to service generators and pumps out there.
We would usually spend the best part of a day out there. Lunch with prison officers was usually very good.
Couldn't help noticing "Hector" in some photos.....the world's most well known cloud.
I was a private pilot/aeroplane bum in the late 70's so learnt about Hector.
Thanks for bringing back some very pleasant memories for me Joel.
Could do with some of those puddles down here. Looks like a fun place to play.
For some reason I can only watch the first half of teh video ? Anyway looks like great fun tracks... Just the sort I like... but how did you know that any given 'puddle' wasn't 12ft deep ?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
