Fraser island vs TJM "Heavy duty" shock

broke nothing for a couple of days then bang and find a Shock simply snapped at weld which tells me crappy workmanship as a proper weld is stronger then surrounding area.....not impressed although met a great bunch of guys from "Fraser Island 4wd hire" who let me buy a spare set of terrafirma shocks off them and even put them on the ship to get them to me at fraser. BTW Fraser Island 4wd hire only hire out land rovers

upper mount at rear is known for giving shock eyes hell.

While the weld "may" be stronger the "HAZ" can be the weak spot. There is ALOT going on in a simple weld joint.
