I look here for Land Rover info not to read about illegal immigrants (example), but you are absolutely right of course, I just have trouble getting my head around it.

My whinge - having to pay over $40 for a month beach permit for Bribie Island and I only want to go up for the day. You can get a day permit for Cooloola, why not Bribie.
