    My whinge!

Why wasn't I told about this thread?

I had to go and find it all by myself, some people out there are just not considerate.

Had this weekend set aside to remove the winch from my hilux. Give it an overhaul.
Fit the new ARB bull bar and TJM side steps n bush bars. Safari snorkel. But someone turned up the heat. Sorry I'm not working out side in 40 degree heat. There is not enough beer in the world for that.

[QUOTE=bacicat;2063846]My whinge today was whilst trying to change the pulley on the front of the balancer - nuts aren't captive and a PITA to get to as you can only undo a couple at a time when they are at 6 o'clock so you have to keep barring the engine over - and I was on my own, so ended up pulling the pin and having a beer instead...

have considered starting work on mods all week - make it as far as shed/bar/beer fridge each time - spanners rendered superfluous on each occasion,,,,,

whinge for the day - should of put beer fridge in lounge room not shed, get nothing done

Scotchloks. Only legitimate use is for them to be placed on the reproductive tubes of the inventor
Add to that a lot of aftermarket wiring done with the same colour wire, where each wire is 5cm shorter than ideal.
Some people should just stay away from working on vehicles and be content with stabbing themselves in the forehead opening paint cans with a screwdriver.

My whinge for the day is the cost of LPG. I must say at this point I don't have any vehicles that run on LPG . but if I did have , just saying .

Actually it has come down at a few places recently, got it for 89.9c/l today,a bit better than 95.9.

I did also drive past one place that was 104.9 though

With the LPG I heard ages ago that it was going up. Something was taken of the gas price which meant is was going up over time slowly but surely.
I told every one I knew but everyone laughed and said nuh. No it won't.
Since then I have seen it slowly go up.
It not viable to run it with the extra wear on electrics and engine.

It all doesn't make seance. They are screaming for us to use cleaner fuels but every thing that is good is pricey.

    Gotta love Australia.
