I don't recognise the base, but on most I have seen, the antenna will unscrew from it - is that thinner bit the antenna, or part of the base - I cant see the whole antenna from the photos...
I'm trying to get some HF radio gear down to my place from Sydney, bought it unseen on eBay and Don 130 kindly picked it up for me and has it at his place. A friend of a friend may be able to bring it down here, but it seems the auto-tuning antenna base is a bit long (by about 85mm) to fit in his car. I'm wondering if it's possible to dismantle the thinner part of the base (see photo) from the thicker part?

If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Moonraker, AT3-18 or AT2-30 made in Tasmania. There are two ranges 3MHz -18MHz and 2MHz - 30MHz they usually require a remote tuner box.
Not as robust as the Codan 9350 or Barrett equivalent, their main use is in marine applications.
No I don't believe you can dismantle the antenna unit, apart from the SS whip, which is already off. (Yes I have one here.)
IMHO they are called Moonraker because they are sooooo long that you can use them to rake the dust on the Moon.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
