Many years ago I worked for a paint company. They made paint in batches by the thousands of litres. these batches were manually canned then manually labelled. Labels were Premium, Queensland Housing Commision Approved, Company Brand, Economy Brand and Department Store Brand. As employees we were offered a 35% discount on products. It was cheaper for me to go th the department stor and pay their retail.
More recently, following cyclone Yasi, I purchased the last two two litre milk bottles in stock at Coles Innisfail. I placed both bottles, one Dairy Farmers the other Coles' own brand, side by side in the fridge at home. The Coles' one froze, indicating a high water content.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
