I have a vague recollection of a similar topic already having been discussed but I can't find it, so am hoping for some help before I lose my freakin' mind.
There are constant ads flickering across the bottom and middle of the AULRO webpages when I view them on my iPad. In the iPad settings I have chosen to limit ad tracking and block cookies from third parties and advertisers, which I thought might help but it doesn't.
Why is this annoying crap flickering and jumping around my screen and how do I stop it? Save me.

Dear Incisor,
I'm a 73 year old LANDROVER freak (got into them in the late 50's and still into them)
I have the same problem eg Unwanted/unsolicited Ads appearing over the top of AULRO posts. AND (even worse) dozens of words, quotes, phrases, place names, highlighted in green, which, if I accidently pass over whilst scrolling down the posts, take over my screen with gobbledegook, I then must stop what I'm doing, delete them and continue reading about LAND ROVERS.
Now, re your answer to alittlebitconcerned please explain.....1. Gold subscriber? 2. LW Skin? 3. Safari? 4. AULRO App?.....OR how can I get my "AULRO" back to what it was??
Many Thanks.
You most likely have problems which are not caused by AULRO. You have installed intentionally or unintentionally ad supported software which is highlighting words in web pages and pushing ads to you when you place your mouse cursor over those words.
Use google with search terms "malware green highlighted links" you will find many instructions on how to remove this behaviour. Here is one, you may find others with removal instructions which make more sense to you.

I know I wont be buying a Toyota. Same here, flickers at the bottom of the Ipad for my attention. I'll be letting Toyota advertising they have my attention alright. Should call in the dealer each day, and hand out business cards to all his visitors/users as they walk by, or follow them around. Just marketing mate, it's all good. Toyota open on each aulro page, so surely toyota wont mind if I stalk there customers/users.
Its weird how we pay for a service, the net, then then we are marketed for things out of our power or choice. I thought if one pays they get some choice over what they are paying for.
No a swipe at you Dave, just a general observation about the net.
