I have now deleted NIS.

In its place are Adaware and Kerio.

All cleaned up and running sweetly.

add spybotd 1.3 and immunise if you arent using the pay version of adaware.

even if you are, they do compliment each other.

    Spybot installed.

30 day trial of nod32 anti virus installed as well. This seems good.

All is working like a well serviced Land Rover (I bought a virtual oil tray to catch the virtual drips)

Tried a complete restart (power off, plug out on the laptop) and every thing seems to be working fine

    KEV0044 Writes <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Norton " Anti - Virus " Works "A Treat"
So YOU'RE the one that it works for!! 8O 8O 8O

Sorry Kev I've got to disagree on that one...

I've made plenty of $$$ from getting viruses off machines that had Norton running set to auto update!!

I wouldn't use Norton Antivirus if it was free!!

I have used Vet for about 8 years or so ( since it was an aussie company...)

Never had a virus in any of my machines - even though I've been known to spend time in places I deserve to get bugs!! 8O 8O

But if it's working for you...... life is good! 8)
