    Yeah.......very interesting, I wonder how the human body can survive long term in such conditions as Mars. The Earth's atmosphere offers protection from space "nasties" such as radiation, meteors etc. The gravity on Mars is not as great as here and the human body is adapted to Earth's gravity so perhaps medical problems associated with low gravity,would be another concern.

    Maybe further in the future when technology has answers for the myriad of problems associated with long term living on Mars, humans would have a better chance of survival.

    As for the guy who wants to meet aliens, let's say he finds an Martian cockroach, how long will he be able to keep that excitement going!?

    If they ever get there, I wonder what the suicide rate will be in the first 12 months.
