Don't knock Yamahas, my friend that has the Can-Am still has and rides his XS-1 green and white wobbly wonde r and I had a TX-750 in between my BMWs but once you have ridden a motorcycle it is hard to go back to a motorbike, Gawd that TX-750 was top heavy, and the Beemer was the only bike that she could go to sleep on while riding pillion, they are just so balanced on winding roads, I just loved that "Bells Line of Road" across the Blue Mountains when I was living in Sydney in 70's-80's would often go from the Cross to Katoomba for a hamburger or to Lithgow for a morning ride up through the mountains we even had an R60 with a DJP chair but that got written off by an license-less ethnic lady in a Cortina, rolled the Cortina but the wife's ankle in 3 places, it only aches in the winter she says.

I still have one Beemer in storage a 1955 model, my son wants that to add to his collection of Panthers.

    cheers

    Gargle with red wine!

These were the roughies that turned up. V8Ian had to kneel in the carpark to get down to the level of Pedro.

L-R: V8Ian, Yvonne, Diane, Pedro the Swift.

    That photo is a cracker!

So if the camera died in action it can now be buried with honours.

Further more, it should rest in the tomb of the unknown warrior.

Pedro is the spitting image of my next door neighbour, save for the belly. He'd need to pack on another few stone to match Neville. But it's still freaky.
