i have been offered tickets but knocked them back i cant stand american sports. they need a glove to catch a ball a helmet to play football and cars that go around a big oval for about four hours bloody boring all of it. would love to see them face mitchell johnson at around 155kph when you have no idea where the ball is going to land.

    That's not really fair

I was based in the States for a few years, it's a regret of mine now that I never made an attempt to go to any games.
I did however get to watch baseball and gridiron occasionally on tv in the company of people who had the patience to explain their game to me. It made it a lot more interesting to know some of the nuances and rules of the game.

I enjoy watching cricket, but I can acknowledge that if I didn't know anything about it it could be a very dull boring game. And imagine their thoughts on five days of boredom with no result.

you may think its not fair but the only reason i say it is because in my early 20s my mum worked in canada and i spent a lot of time there and travelling around the USA and went to a baseball game also two nascar races and saw the dallas cowboys play the denver broncos so i dont say it without knowing what their sports are about mate. the simple fact is cricket takes a hell of a lot more skill than baseball anyone can catch a ball with a bloody big glove on the batsman only has to focus for 3 balls and you know where the ball is going to go if the batter gets hit they have big cry about it. i dont see cricket batsmen carrying on like that and they get hit all the time. the nascar racing was boring as bat**** the crowds were good value.V8 supercars at bathurst is by far a better event. i had the rules of gridiron explained to me before i went to the game and compared to nrl afl and union it is a load of crap the amount of people needed to make up a team the helmets and padding the amount of stopage time what a joke those boys wouldnt last a single half playing aussie football codes. thats why i cant stand american sports they lack the toughness and skill of aussie sports.

I see grid iron is coming to brisbane.......I would skip watching exhibition games as the atmosphere just would be there......the few time I have travelled overseas I have attempted to go to watch the top level sport in that country.

Done basket ball and ice hockey in America...........chicken out watching football in turkey, everybody bailed on me and it was a big local derby and I was. Sing pushed towards some dodgy back streets to buy a ticket. I'm kinda kicking my self for not being more organised.

I've watched baseball, can be very boring, especially when knowone is scoring any runs, which is quite often, it's even boring to play

But having said that, I'd go if I could, would be an interesting event I
    reckon.

Can't watch NASCAR, when it comes to the NFA, the highlights reel is best
