I looked at the gallery and the FAQ and couldn't see how to upload the file. I'd post it to my website and link to it there but I can't get FTP to work at the moment.
I'll mail the pix to you

Load it into the gallery then link it across to here (see FAQ)Originally posted by p38arover
Only one pix came out. But I can post it here if I can work out how to do it.

Or email myself and I will do it for you.

Did you get the pix I sent a few days ago to the email address shown in your profile?

Just a query for those that went, what's the story with this vehicle, is it a chopped perente, a fake or the real deal??
it's got the right windscreen, bonnet and headlights, but a series doors and rear half.

i have met the guy that owns it a couple of years ago, he actually lives up the road from me.
he built it up from bits, it's not a genuine article.
apart from the 2piece arrangement on the doors, which i have an idea are std military?, what makes you think they are series doors?

I was going to say doorhandles, untill I realised that the perenties have that type of handle as wellops:
thanks for the info barney. Really it is a nice looking unit, even if it does look a little odd.

As Barney has noted, the car was built up by Monty, the owner, who also owns a very nice 101 (not the one at the LR Expo). He also has a diesel Army look-alike 110 - I'm not sure if the 110 is a genuine Perentie or not - I'll have to ask him.
I see that particular SWB vehicle occasionally at KLR Automotive at Kingswood (Penrith).

phoenix,
my 1984 110 has the same door handles but with wind up windows. even though mine was once a military vehicle, it preceded the perentie project and was in civilian guise at the time of purchase. you can read the blurb about 110 utes on remlr for yourself. i think they were a transition item left over from the previous model, the series lll stage 1. as was the lack of power steering
