I will be sitting at home, popping in and out of the Forum waiting to hear about your experiences and trip reports.
I dont know how long I can contain the excitement.
    Might have to jack off.

I'll be riding a bicycle, somewhere in Cuba. We're taking a couple of touring bikes and pedalling around western and central Cuba for a month. I'll be trying to master the art of smoking a cigar, drinking rum and pedalling a fairly heavy bike at the same time.

Melrose for me and then hooking up with Alien (and Redback apparently) for the North Flinders.
My wife is joining me at Arkaroola (flies to Adelaide and then gets the bus ) for a run up to Cameron Corner and Tibooburra. Then drop her off at Broken Hill so she can fly home.
I'll head home to Sydney via Menindee, Ivanhoe, Parkes ove the next couple of days.
Can't wait to get some clear air.
    Cheers
    Mike

Hoping not to curse it but if the stars stay aligned then I will have easter off again !(thats two years in a row after 15 straight working it!) and will take my youngest son (the one who likes Landys) to Melrose.

They put on a good show and I felt very welcome and comfy there last year!
Of course this is all, "If everything stays on track!" (I can see a few problems there and am being very quiet at the moment!)

Mike, Marcus, alien and redback, hope to see you at Melrose along with a lot of others!!

Those coming to SA be aware they put out the camera cars (and tripods) all over the place, and our fines here are "up market prices" so be wary esp through smaller towns and 'villages'. Almost all country police vehicles have both car fitted radar and hand held laser.... not trying to scare you off but trying to keep you 'funded"!!

DaveS - envious mate! If you find an old grille badge you can pick up cheap thats cuban please do so and Ill buy it from you! (expect lots of pictures etc- I dont expect you'll see lots of Landys but sounds like a fantstic adventure.. Go pro stuff so you dont miss it!!)

Robert..... MMM maybe you should've given something up for lent?
but you know what they say, "sharing is caring"...but sometimes you can care too much!

Bobby, enjoy -its beaut country... if you venture onto the Birdsville track dont forget the Clayton Spa, Mungerannie Pub (and spa and golf course) and theres a lot of spots to look at (eg stuff/places visited from the old Tom Kruse movie BACK OF BEYOND) - Enjoy a beer at William Creek Pub (its entertaining anytime, anyway!) have a coldie at the Marree Pub (Ive got me photo in the Tom Kruse gallery/museum there.. see if you can spot me! )

Enjoy... maybe take an EPIRB _ Just in case! (although should be busy up that way this time of year)

Have a great easter whatever you are doing people... remember to pause and spare a thought on Anzac Day- their sacrifice is why we can still bugger off at easter etc!

Mate, it's the thought that counts.
