Are there any specified uses for blue coolant? Does it suit all engine types? Be interested to know!

I'm using it in the rangie.
There's been a few members in the L322 section saying that the coolant sector comes up on the screen if its not the right amount of coolant in it.Something about the percentage of coolant to water.
Apparently BMW only uses blue coolant,so if thats what they put into there beasts, thats what I'll put in.(I've got the td6 in mine).
At $16.85 for a litre of concentrate, its cheap enough insurance for the motor.

    cheers

I hope your "local auto guy" used the Correct and Specified Auto trans fluid and not the cheap crap they usually use, good luck, Regards Frank.

Yes, the box in an FL2 is an Aisin 6 speed that is in quite a few other cars and he was familiar with it and the oil it needed. That was 30k ago and no problems.

List of cars with the same box- Mazda6, MazdaCX7, MazdaCX9, Ford Mondeo.
