OK, I'll kick off.
I've got the standard rangy headlights, and the globes have been replaced with 90/130's. I've also got 2 Super Oscars, both running the original 100w globes. 1 spot, 1 spread, with the spread on the passenger side of the car. I've got the pencil beam aimed slightly to the right, so is useful for those morons that drive with their high beams on all the time. The driving lights are running through a relay, but I haven't got around to setting up a relay for the headlights yet.
The S.O.'s throw more light than the Oscars that were there before them, but not a large amount more. Comparing to my cousins Lightforces, the light is more directional. His Lightforces seem to throw the light all around the place in a much larger circle.
I'd like to get a couple more lights, but I've run out of room on the bullbar, and I don't think that mounting them above the bar is strictly legal. I have also heard that spotlights mounted on a roofrack 'flatten out' the terrain ahead, and make it a little harder to see dips due to the light coming from above. (Anyone with roofrack mounted lights, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!)
I was looking at some NiteStalkers. Anyone have any opinions on them?
Just to give some more thought for conversation:
What about rear mounted spotlights?
