Moved :blown up crossings

A sobering thought for travellers.
Has anyone else but me realised that this is the only place in the world that I know of, that requires visas to pass across a greater part of this great land of OURS. And if this land of Australia is OURS as we are led to believe, then WHY is this so?
There are two types of people in this world, good and bad. The good sleep better, but the bad seem to enjoy the waking hours

Buying more Landrovers

G'day Vlad, I would love to buy some more but I already have 2 waiting their turn and a Wksp trailer waiting to be restored(they take me about a year more or less to do a complete strip down and rebuild). I was at a venue and a chap was blowing his trumpet about one of my L/rs he wanted to know how much it would cost him for me to restore his S2A 109 to the same condition as my S2A 88 GS I said to him at the time if you buy all the items necessary for the restoration and pay me $300.00 a week I would do it for him, well I almost had to call an ambulance 8O he called me a lot of names that I couldn't print here so I said to him take it to a panel shop and pay $60-75.00 p/hour then. I'm convinced after owning L/rs since 1969 that there are a lot of people out there and I'm sure you have met some too that want next years model with a pantec full of bits and a Finemores fuel tanker every month for 5 years for a $100.00 or less, and to compound the problem I have my own small workshop with a metal turning lathe and small milling machine etc etc etc some people think that you should be grateful to do the job for me for nothing!!!. I've got off the track here haven't I mate I'm 55yo,I work full time as a Registered Nurse and I really would like to buy an unusual Landrover, I met a chap who has at least 20 L/rs and probably the same amount of trailers in either No5's or Wksp's and some 101 Rapier types but he will not sell any, I have a mate who has a 101 and it will rot in his shed cause if he sells it to me he wont have it anymore :? but while he has it, it will rot. My wife doesn't mind me spending time fiddling with Landrovers and she has stated that I should get something unusual but I missed out on a S2A Lightweight it went to someone in Cairns just recently so we keep looking, can you set up a trust fund for me cheers I will be watching the mail

Visa's

The Visa's I refer to are the permits we have to apply for, and sometimes not receive, to pass across or through many areas of Australia. If this is not a Visa then then what is?
Best regards

And the alternative is to live in a tall air-conditioned, performance glass clad concrete tower (and a balcony) on a thin strip of land between the high tide line (plus a deemed to be suitable setback) and some place declared Wilderness.

The rest requires a visa and travel with bare feet only, just in case we leave the imprints of walking boots.
