It is a good read.
found it by chance and have got it ever since.
I was lucky enough to discover it last year at edition 1, so I have the complete set.
A VERY good publication IMHO.
Pickles.
very good read another one i dont mind is land rover monthly before i stumbled onto the forum land rover monthly was my go to for info![]()
I have had the first few issues. Whilst being quite a good read, and leaving out focusing on the newer models I am not interested in at all, I feel it is made up much like all the other ones around. Nothing really new or exciting under the sun. If I were to subscribe to a LR-magazine today, this would probably be my choice, but not an overtly convincing one.

There are people who spend all weekend cleaning the car.
And there are people who drive Discovery.
The Wife stumbled across it around Christmastime and then I ordered the back copies all bar issue 2 which seems to have gone the way of all flesh.
I enjoy it from a novice point of view - I expect my intellectual demands on it aren't all that great. I like old pictures of Land Rovers especialy working ones and the workshop stuff is good enough for my level. LRM etc didnt have enough of the old stuff for me. All to their own.
p.s I've errrrr...........ummmm...........submitted a picture of me Dog!
Shhhhhhh..........

Always good to hear positive feedback, especially confirming the magazine is popular the world over.
As with everything I'm sure it's not to everyone's tastes, but one of the overall aims is to show that it's still possible to have fun with an old Land Rover that isn't plastered in thousands of pounds worth of bolt on bling, and doing it yourself on a sensible budget is quite achievable if you so wished.
Having reached our first anniversary we can tell from the feedback we've had from readers that we must be doing something right, although we continue to develop the magazine to include something for everyone, and hopefully keep up the momentum we have already gained.
Also, although not quite the same as holding a paper copy, every issue of Classic Land Rover Magazine is available as a digital download on a variety of platforms including Apple iOS and Android.
Readers can be found on the Apple Appstore and Google Play with full details of digital availability on the website; www.classiclandrover.com
I'm afraid I can't offer mates rates on the cover price, but you can enjoy a discount by taking out a subscription, or by reading via digital media.
Once again -on behalf of the entire CLR team- thank you for your positive feedback, and we hope you continue to enjoy the magazine.
