bernie and his boys have become a joke.
I am surprised that Renault hasn't butted in and decided to take on the fia over this fuel sensor stupidity.

They got caught cheating yet again, but this time they are penalising them so they are taking their bat home. They should have had at least two of their championships stripped from them for cheating but this sort of threat made the FIA back off. Hope that they don't this time. I remember one year they had illegal aerodynamics and, if I recall correctly, another year they were remapping their engines. Call his bluff - he's a cheat.

The red bull boss makes some very valid points i agree the engines make a stupid noise and to me are a step backwards. F1 has always been about whats possible in technology this whole idea about economy is a load of **** big horsepower big speed and big noise is what fans want not a prius on steroids. F1 needs to have a good look at the money needed to go racing not that long ago there was a good spread of makers and teams involved you had toyota, honda, jaguar, ford, bmw, now they have all gone leaving only a choice of three engines

Well they had a faulty sensor (the FIA supplied sensors cost about $1000- to $5000- a piece depending on who you listen to). Swapped it out and the replacement was also faulty to a greater degree. So they put the original back in and with discussion with tech inspectors were using their own sensors data (their sensors run around $30,000 a piece).

So fast forward and for whatever reason someone doesn't like it, comments made or the result ,so results are changed.

If they really want to control them and allow technology, then just lift the cars up by 25mm and given them a 10-11,000 rpm limit on the old engines so they last longer than 2hrs and still sound obscenely cool. Going back to turbos was a bad move though as that's an area where a lot of technology can happen very quickly unlike normal aspiration.

But let's be honest, they have to control the speeds in the cars with rules. They were able to build F1 cars during Colin Chapmans era that were beyond the best drivers capability.
    Cheers
