Toyota to buy Jaguar Land Rover

After the tragic death of Tata's managing director, the company is doing a major shuffle of it's operations. Apparently this includes selling off the Jaguar Land Rover division.
Now this is the real tragic part .............apparently Toyota have seized the opportunity and snapped up the company.

I don't know how I feel about this.........is it the end of Land Rover as we know it, or is it a new beginning. Maybe the new Defender will be a rebadged FJ40..........that would definitely make me throw up.

Read the whole article here..... Toyota Land Rover Take Over

...and Toyota shares slump at the news.

International Court of Justice declares there is no scientific rational behind LRover owners sniping at Toyotas and this activity must cease to smooth the transition...

There is more to this story, Toyota are discontinuing the Hi Lux model line in favour of Defender but the Range Rover Vogue will now be sold under the Lexus badge!

Strange things happening, It was all reported on auto spies.com

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
