Might as well we have politics involved
Watching the American news this morning, they are talking about charges being laid , against GM management. The Congressional investigation was live on Fox this morning, interesting stuff.

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
So we're got the world's two largest automakers Toyota and GM in big trouble for hiding faults from consumers, resulting in deaths and injuries. Toyota was found to have hidden the problem which caused its vehicles to accelerate and drivers to be unable to stop the vehicles. GM has ignitions catching fire.
Yet, we still have Toyota and GM owners refusing to accept the facts and continuing to slag off LR, which hasn't had these problems. Talk about being one-eyed! Never let the facts get in the way of a deeply-held prejudice.
Toyota fined $1.2bn over recall - Telegraph
I used to drive past the Ford plant at Campbellfield every day and it really amazed me all the NON-Ford products in the carpark. All the Ford workers so distressed about the loss of jobs but where was the loyalty to their own employer and product.
Same applied to Holden at Fishermans Bend. Try working for VW in Germany, if you want your job you drive a VW.
Amazing that car assembly workers,(they are not qualified tradespersons) can earn more money than fully qualified tradespersons that have completed a 4 year apprenticeship, and they wonder why the manufacturers have decided building in Australia is too costly
I'm going to regret this ........

GM defects, Toyota Defects (hidden)
Did we forget VW Defects that were hidden and even refuted just recently?
All manufacturers have defects but it is whether they chose to hide them or actually be pro active and admit them and rectify them.
And LR classifies them as iconic design features![]()
