Part of being a Mod is that you have to be logged on 24/7 just waiting to reply when needed. Sort of like an Ambulance for the Internet...:D

In the forums the mods have to abide by the same rules as everyone else, they get reported like everyone else and can receive infractions like everyone else.

As has been said, mods can even be de-modded and or banned if the infraction is serious enough. It can be a big wake up.
