Where can I get footwell rust repair panels?

    As Above,

Does any one now where I can get rust repair panels for the footwells?

    Thanks

    Lobo

PS After spending a day away from the Defender I am still in two minds about to repair or not. I dont have a lot of time as I am posted OS from 8th November but would really like to get the beast going before i do. It was/is going to be me vehicle for when I am visiting oz.

If any body can explain to me how to post pictures i will get some up here.

Thanks LRH but have tried them and they dont do them anymore, Also found they are hard to deal with at times. I asked them to me email prices for what I need and am still waiting. However they are most helpful over the phone.

or even Paddocks in the UK - http://www.paddockspares.com

The freight is a bugger, but the parts are real cheap to start with.

Series ones are GBP8.95 - (Just a little over $20 each)!!!

    Footwell replacement

G'day ntguy, yuo can buy footwell replacements from 4wd in Melbourne but the difference between the ones you have bought and the ones you are going to replace well????!!!!, if you just want something to put your feet against well just get out the angle grinder with a 4" metal cutting disc and get into it but if you want it to look half original (because it will not come with the 3 vertical pressings in it, nor will it have the stiffening support pieces in it either) so these bits, i.e. the support pieces for the brake/clutch/steering brackets, you will need to remove these from the original bulkhead by drilling out the spotwelds and welding back insitu, it took me about 5 days of carefully removing/drilling out the spot welds etc and then rewelding it back into place to make it look like the geniune article and have no buckling/wobbling sounds as you operate the brake/clutch pedals, but it's your call it's your vehicle cheers and all the best with it. 8O :? PS I forgot to add the reason why it took me 5 days I'm a reg/nse 37 years with chronic back problems can't stay in a bent possie for too long someone who doesn't have a back problem maybe could do same job in 1-2 days cheers
