    Cool My Disco lives.

The Maestro Dave got my car going after other mechanics gave up. He merely undid a couple of bolts and made it sound awesome, ya gotta love a V8 cackle.

Don't try this in an i130 or Mazda 3 etcetera.

Handled it no probs Andy, the Disco could have sat back an inch or six to take a bit off the Ford's back suspension. I saw the temp gauge go up for the first time ever though.

Yes mine has bags Andy. I think if it was idling when I loaded it, it would have automatically self leveled.

The trailer wheels are quite a way back. Like my tandem. I would have tried loading the disco on backwards. Would have balanced it nicely with a couple of hundred kilos on the tow ball.

Lets be fair here, there was a fair bit of "my one true talent in life is keeping people guessing where my skills stopped and my luck began"

there was a lot of IF's that could have made it not happen IF they hadnt just fallen into line in the hour it took after you got back from dropping the trailer back and I was charging the battery.

    • IF it wasnt for the nearly flat battery slowing the cranking speed
    • IF I hadnt been doing the compression check and left the spark plug earthed where I could see it
    • IF I hadnt been trying to do a bushies compression check with my thumb on the spark plug hole.
    • IF it hadnt happen to stop with the piston I was compression checking with the valves on the rock
    • IF I hadnt noticed no "Suck" and a second lighter "compression" when there was no spark coming off the plug when the motor stopped on the rock and
    • IF I hadnt only recently gotten a small motor bike running after having the same problem

I probably wouldn't have picked up the blocked muffler.

I lined the B pillar up with the centre of the tandem Mick, that normally gives a reasonably good balance but this trailer has a longer draw bar.
