That would certainly spice it up!
Well the V8's at Winton are over so time for another post. There is talk Ambrose may return to V8 supercars if he dose not make it into the top class for NASCAR then maybe he might race in Australia. In the 5 years he raced for the stone brothers racing team he won the title twice in 2003/2004 and dominated the series in those 5 years. The Penske racing team is looking at a tie-up with DJR and looks like the likely team he would race for. One thing to remember is Ambrose never won Bathurst before going to the USA and he turns 38 in september this year so time is running out to tick that box. Ambrose left stone brothers racing the same year as Whincup joined 888 so the thought of these two going head to head would be some dam good racing. Out of the current crop of drivers maybe Lowndes is about the only driver that pushes Whincup on a regular basis young Scott Mclaughlin will be a future champion drivers like Winterbottom, Courtney, Tander, Ingall on there day can compete but Ambrose would push him every round. The potential of a DJR/Penske team would be awesome and very well funded a team capable of going toe to toe with Red bull. Not reading a great deal into it but i hope it happens![]()

It's almost too late for V8 Supercars. largely a procession rather than a race. The people running the show about minor infringements of already ludicrous rules, that there's no room for RACING any more.....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Must admit this weekend was very bad the stewards are killing the racing there was no need to give Ingall a drive through penalty it could have been a points penalty after the race. I have no dramas with his reaction after the race. And to have 5 pit lane speeding infringements for maybe 1 or 2 kays over is a load of crap. I don't often stick up for Red bull but i think they had a point today when the Supercheap Auto team let a wheel go running across pit lane the team got 30 championship points reduction and a $3000 fine but at the Adelaide race Red bull got a drive through penalty for the car controller touching the car during a pit stop
V8 Supercars is what we've got, no use complaining, that's it, it is the formula,...actually I love it, the last race at Winton today was awesome.
Ambrose?,.....I'm a BBBBIIIGGG fan, but do I want him to come back to V8 Supercars?,....well yes, of course I do, because he is a quality driver, but having seen him take an almighty punt to seek success in Nascar, I'd like to see him have a few wins there first.
However, would I like to see him in a Penske funded V8 Supercars team?...Bloody oath I would.
Pickles.
I would really like to see Ambrose win a few Nascar races. I think he he still has the talent/reflexes to do it however if he comes back to Australia it will certainly add some talent to our current series.
He must be sick of driving around in circles.
I rekon Penske racing will be here when the falcoon is dead.
They will have mustangs

I would also love to see more constructors involved and truly get the V8 supercars up on the international stage lets get BMW, LEXUS, CHRYSLER, ASTON MARTIN, AUDI, that would make for some awesome racing.
