It looks like the offspring of a freelander ,in the nose, with a Ford territory's body from the side. Then again people always said the territory would make a good export, I don't tthink they meant the whole production line

    Freelander territory... thats sad.

Maybe they should send them to the outback for a month or so as part of their testing, all the gizmos will be crap once full of dust.

*And the 'suicide doors' ?? really, no one ever does it - its just a motor show concept car showy piece of nothing...
*No centre pillar would assist in a rollover... !?!
*Glass roof (practical here during summer, Oh you are buying a new discovery, well here is your automatic appointment at the skin cancer clinic for 6 months time....)
*Low profile tyres....really? Its a 4wd isnt it?
*Electronic door handles... and when the battery fails?

*the vinyl floor is at least something that hints at some sort of usage..

Its sad that the vehicle that keeps cleaning up 4wd of the year seems to be moving rapidly away from what its core function should be.

If the freelander was the future, - theyd be everywhere already, there are some about but not in stunning numbers..

lets redesign again...or should I say lets try and design something first not copy and slightly alter other stuff.

God help us for what any new defender may be like...if they even bother...

Land Rover have lost the plot!
It just looks like all the other plastic "SUV's" floating around the joint.
    Absolutely ****!

What market is this ****box aimed at? Maybe the hairdressers or inner-city dwelling vegans. Might look right at home on Toorak rd

Lets combine the two and design a name:
    Freetory
    Terrilander
Or my favourites His and hers, Feraltory and Feralterry

Holy cow someone has already put up a photo of a black current model territory in the rovers north page and they are virtually identical ,front Doors are almost identical cut ,rear concept is suicide but odds are it will be identical to the territory, the rear side load windows are the same shape , the panel underneath and between back doors and windows is identical in shape, the ridge on the lower part of the doors is a bit higher and the roof has a tiny kick up like the older D1-4 but much less. Sorry but all it looks like is a midlife plastics upgrade to the territory, with a new roof , bumper/headlights and a smoothing out of the tail panels. (that's ignoring all the bling inside and the 1/2 ton of glass roof, which will be a joy if any hail hits or as the seals age)
