    Satellite receiver set top box

I spent the most of the Easter weekend trying to find C1, with a Strong 4664

I called the supplier today and they told me they stopped the analogue signal - duhh; has to be the VAST digital - another discussion

Anyway for other that may only use the system on an infrequent basis - pls learn from my protracted and painful mistake

May not be legal, but if you have foxtel & your home address is in an area where the iQ box gets all the fta channels, set up a dish on the caravan & with a relatively cheap satellite signal meter you should be able to lock on to the satellite wherever you are.
So long as the set top box is registered to a postcode where fta is "allowed" you should be able to get it anywhere

Yes, the old Aurora channels are no longer, you need a Vast box and have to be registered to receive a signal.

If you are happy with ABC and SBS you can pick up Optus D1. It is a bit to the right of C1, easier if you have a sat. finder.

D1 is the remote area downlink to all the outback settlements.

Trust me, you don't need the commercials
