The little service at Yulara was, as usual, very well attended, with many residents and visitors. An annoucement was made at the start for those with mobiles to please turn them off.
Our official parade consisted of an NTFRS contingent (2 permanents and a number of volunteers all in uniform, local NT Police x 4 and our crew of 6 in dress uniform. I'd forgotten what it was like to stand perfectly still for around 40 mins and it reminds me how old we are all getting 
The Lions put on a Gunfire breakfast for $5 a head which I think most took advantage of. This is a fundraiser for the Lions as the food is donated by the Outback Hotel.
And now of course I'm at work.
