JC political incorrectness is tame if you compare it to South Park. Making politically incorrect comments is fair game if you ask me, especially in the context of humour - its not aimed to be offensive so take it as it was intended. Throwing (or attempting to) a punch at a co worker would get me sacked from my job, cant see why it should be any different for a celebrity.

Clarkson apparently reported himself to the BBC, it wasn't the bloke he allegedly took a swing at.

I'd be very unimpressed too. What terrible service.

Yes, Jim, Phil the Greek is a scream. So dry his humour flies well over most people's heads.

The Chef in the pub had finished work by the time JC decided to leave the bar, and order a meal. He was lucky to be offered a salad. I totally get Prince Philips humour. He served in command of a destroyer in WW2. Be nice to have a beer with him, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I wouldn't be happy either, but I would not belt someone for it and neither should anyone else, doesn't matter who you are.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

The trouble with Mr JC is he speaks his mind, and a lot of people don't like that.

I don't think he's racist, or anything like that, he's just old school and being from Yorkshire does not take fools gladly.

The incident in Burma about the man on a bridge called a slope, was utter rubbish 99% of people in the UK, would have no idea what the word even meant.

People are not forced to watch Top Gear, but looking at the stats on global viewing a lot do.

You might think he's a fool, but he's a very rich fool.

I gave up watching it when it went to Ch 9.

I doubt I'd go back as the show's formula is always the same. We see Supercars we can't afford and mini cars we wouldn't want, celebrities we've never heard of driving a car one wouldn't be seen dead in, and the three of them doing a stupid challenge whilst making fun of James. To me, the show is well past its use by date.

I tried watching it once and found it very unfunny. I never gave it a second chance.
