He got sacked: Jeremy Clarkson to be sacked by the BBC - Telegraph
BBC have just shot their cash cow, they will lose millions in syndication for Top Gear.

Clarkson really left the BBC with no choice but to sack him. He abused the presenter for 20 minutes and then punched him over a trivial matter which was not the producer's fault. Any employer has a duty of care to protect its staff from assault by another employee.
Clarkson then made it harder for the BBC by not only not showing any signs of regret, but by verbally abusing the BBC itself in public. He refused to accept any blame for his own actions, or to take responsibility and 'man up'. Instead he blamed everyone but himself.
I realize he's been through a messy second divorce and his mother died recently, but his actions were still unacceptable.
As for the future of Top Gear, like many people I haven't been watching it since it went to Foxtel, so it won't make any difference to me.
I hope they retain James and Richard and the radio guy Chris Evans has been on before and is a lively guy, so he should be entertaining.

What a relief - at last
(now it is just possible that it will be able to claw its way back to become a respectable show)
Jeremy Clarkson to be sacked but Top Gear to stay, says BBC
I won't watch it again. Clarkson made that show. I think it will die a quick death without him as have most of the international versions.

That is the end of it on the BBC,it will never be the same again, without the three of them.
They may pop up on a commercial channel, you never know!
BBC or Jeremy Clarkson have not actually realesed anything have they, everything is still speculation until they actually release something, not someone says that bbc said something
