Passive methods are pretty good. Just keep with them and they WILL copulate verticaly.

Karma can be a great leveler, I have two examples of that.
One guy cut me off nearly forcing me over a median strip into the oncoming traffic. About two weeks later on a very wet day, same trough lollie cuts me off as i am about to go into a 'left any time with care' turn. He come across three lanes hard, under brakes, locks it up and goes straight into the traffic light pole. Hard. I went past so close to the whole thing, broken glass bounced off my windscreen. Karma.

Two s-box cars driven by some viet-cong playing tag with each other. One tries to ovetake on the left at the end of a merge lane. There's not enough room for him and seeing this I close up with the slow lady in front to discourage him. At that time he is still behind and easily able to slip in behind me safely without drama. But he goes for it, almost hits a parked car and ends up behind me anyway. Naturally he beleives his abundant skill would have carried him through if were it not for me, so he's riding my tail and getting narkey. Slow native turns off an I go to 30k's above limit, this guys follows, stupidly close. I get ot my turn, hit brakes and indicator rapidly and have to stop for traffic. Rocket man showing his machismo to his 'homie bitches', locks it up gets on my left and stops. I look at him as he is leaning out to shout abuse and the god of karma kicks in.
His hot-dog buddy, who has been doing his best to keep up, catches up with a loud bang, right up his clacker.

    Karma happens....

It goes both ways though, back in the early 70s I had a Kwaka 75, thats correct a 75 and on one occasion I was riding along, minding my own business when I came up to a set of traffic lights on a hill at Beverly Hills and went for the breaks, which were the hand grip type.

Squeezed the handle and the cable broke and as I was riding with thongs on ( Thats flip flop type thongs, absolute horrid thought of me in the other type, byc or no byc ) so using the feet to break was out of the question. So opted for the next best thing, the bumper on the car stopped at the lights in front of me. ops:

Lucky for me it was an old VW beetle and all I did was knock the dust off it.
The guy got out and asked if I was all right, I apologised and explained about the broken cable but as there was no damage, he seamed more amused at seeing a 6 foot + idiot riding a 75 Kwaka.

I must admit it must have been quite a strange site seeing a 6 foot + mate and myself doubling around Sydney on the Kwaka.
It didn’t last long, burnt out the motor. Don’t know why. 8O
    Regards
