We noticed some dark clouds in the south this morning when we were in Hedland. Wondered if there was some rain about.

    Saves you washing your car

We're on 80 Mile beach at present and it's warm..but there's a nice cool sea breeze.

    Cheers, Erich

    here in Tassie

Its hissing down here + high winds.

Nice and toasty inside though with the wood heater cranked up.

Would be very nice sitting on the beach at 80 mile right now Erich.

    Enjoy your trip up North.

Close to 200 mL over the past 24.
Roads are shut off out of town. I feel for all the travellers who are tenting it in the parks they will be floating.

Would you believe the Gold Coast district had the driest February on record and it looks like we are about to have the driest April on record too?

Its not just pastoral areas missing the rain.
