I brought 150 liters of diesel a few days ago. Yhe bowser price was 1.61. When I checked the receipt a few days later the actual charge was 1.619. Which is basically 1 cent per litre extra. Is this legal to be able to do that?
Funny you say that... I fueled up today, and noticed the 3 decimal point business too. Pump was 1.49, but cost on receipt was $1.485
What's the deal here?
Where are you fuelling up guys?
Every pump I've ever used (that's under 20 yrs old) has always been to 3 decimal points...

Tried out 1 litre at my usual servo at $1.56.9,came to $1.57.Close enough for me.
From the nautical sense -1. The amount of wine or other liquor which has leaked from a cask, rendering the remainder of little worth, & fit only to be thrown away. Damaged goods, particularly in relation to victuals, are commonly know as "ullaged'.
2. A lazy or cack-handed sailor who is of little use in a ship.
Regarding diesel, I'm not clear on one thing. Do some members have bowsers that display only 2 decimal points ie $1.55 , because all I've ever seen is 3 eg $1.55.9 . What annoys me is paying $1.55.9 in Brisbane & seeing $1.51.9 in Gympie. Bob
