    Seeking suggestions and recommendations

    For sometime now I have wanted to put an auto box in Me Disco.
    I have thought that I would also like to put a top hatted 4.6 in with it.
    But I dont want to go to the trouble of finding all the bits and pieces, putting it together and sorting the thingy.

    So, I would like to just delliver it into a workshop, have them source bits, fit and tune it, then ring me to come and get it.

    Question: anyone have a recommendation for a reliable workshop on the east coast that could do this job ?
    Not asking about or interested in what it would cost.

    You could ask our in house ADF grease monkey if he has time to do it ?
    Would be done right and no doubt for a reasonable cost.

    since when did Melbourne become the east coast?

    visions of grandeur there?

    Yes, I have everything now sitting on the diningroom table including the vital croche needle.
    The valve block that I bought from America is now cleaned up and ready to be overhauled.
    Might get into it this weekend but you know the old saying, dont do today what you can put off till tomorow.
    Once fitted I will immediatley overhaul the original and keep as a spare.

    What perception altering substances have you been taking?
    You're the first person to mention Melbourne and I'm trying to work out why. Perhaps you need to brush up on your comprehension skills.

    I reckon that Loanrangie was talking of Blknight.aus when he was talking of a resident ADF grease monkey. I assume Dave is still bumming around Ippy?

    I believe he is the only resident ADF grease monkey we have.
    Last I looked, Ipswich was in Queensland. I can, however, understand why the people of Ipswich would move their town to Victoria. Maybe that is what they did, going by ramblingboy42's post.
